We met on the Norwegian Epic at the daily 5pm drinks meeting where she rescued him from a self proclaimed insane lady. Over the coming days, they bonded over their love for travel and photography. Each evening, during the solo travellers meet-up they would make a ‘Beeline’ for each other, sharing their day’s experiences and photos.

They discovered very quickly they had their own language, a look would say a thousand words, but neither were thinking romance at this stage. Until the final night, as they said goodbye, Robert’s words were “until fate brings us together again” …this made Audraí realise that there was ‘something here’.

First Meet At Sea
She laid eyes on him during the solo meet-up happy hour. Almost left because there was only an insane person insight. But then she saw him and thought: "he needs saving".
How He Asked?
After one month of texting, chatting and (video) calling, on 22nd January we where certain that we liked each other and we planned our first real date. A holidays to Macedonia where we rented a car and traveled around.
Will You Marry Me?
After our first anniversary, the 2nd Valentine's came around. And since Robert doesn't do Hallmark-days, he went down on one knee to ask if Audraí wanted to be his Viancé (Fiancé, with the V of Valentines).
She Hugged Him & Said “Yes!”
In total shock she said "Yes" and Robert put the promise ring (the claddagh ring - an old Irish wedding ring) on her little finger!
